MALEJA CORPORATION SDN. BHD. incorporated in 1980 as a private limited company, with its main activity focused on the telecommunications industry. The principal activities carried out were the installation of telecommunications cables and accociated civil works ( Outside Line Plant ). The initial paid up capital was RM87,000.00 and presently stands at RM750,001.00. Investment was channeled to the expansion of the company with the opening of branch offices in Pahang, hiring new employees, upgrading employment skills through education and training in fiber optic, installation and project management and purchase of equipment and vehicles. The company has secured almost RM70 million worth of projects after the privatization of Jabatan Telekom Malaysia. Our experience in fiber optic field begin in 1987 with a contract worth RM209,800.38 from Standard Electric Lorenz Sdn. Bhd., where we completed fiber optic works at Mentakab, Kuala Pilah, Bukit Nenas and Petaling Jaya Exchange. In 1990, we secured a contract worth RM 308,819.00 to install submarine cable at Cherating SKDL (Stesen Kabel Dasar Laut). In 1995 we installed fiber optic cables end related civil works along the railway track for Fiberail Sdn. Bhd. with a contract worth of RM 2.5 million along the East Coast region. In 1999 we start our first ever project using the 'Blowing' method, installing fiber optic cables along a 20km route for Sapura Transmission Sdn. Bhd. at Marang, Terengganu. We invested in a Thrust-Boring Machine in 2001 to complement our contract with Telekom Malaysia Berhad (JKH). We have completed the total of RM 1.4 Million worth of HDD jobs. In line with our diversification program, we will be producing ready-made manholes and joint-boxes by the second quarter of this year to supply to the private sector such as property developers, contractors etc.. It is our vision that in the near future we hope to be a world class telecommunications infrastructure provider in year 2020.
